School Management System is a windows based application meant for computerization of the entire procedure that school authorities follow. This application can connect the entire staff including clerical section and library as well as teaching staff and makes the information available at a click of the mouse.

The main advantage of using this system is easy availability of important information and reports from anywhere in the school campus. Any user with proper login rights can access student information, query about books available in the library, send a message or ask for help from teaching staff, principal and even search through the entire list of students and staff to find information about any individual. Use of the application avoids lot of paper work and enables easy access to required data or report through a single mouse click.

Student InformationThe application has been developed in Visual Basic 6.0 with SQL server 2000 as the Database server. Crystal Reports 7 is used as reporting tool.
